When Jake is apprehensive about entering junior high, Charlie and Alan make things worse by telling him about their own nightmare junior high experiences. The stories traumatize Jake so much that on the first day of school, he gets off the bus and goes home to hide. Eventually Charlie and Alan have a realization: the stories they've been telling Jake are reflections of their own worries, which they are passing down to Jake. But when Charlie and Alan decide to teach Jake how to handle his fears, things don't quite go according to plan. Original airdate: 09/24/07
