The New Year's Eve countdown had a chilling conclusion - when the sign blazed on, announcing the start of 2008, it illuminated a tuxedoed corpse tied to the sign. Whoever committed such a high-profile murder clearly had something to say. A threat? A coded message?

The Virtual CSIs have been called in to decipher that message. Go to the crime scene to collect the evidence. Analyze it at the crime lab, interview the suspects and arrest the killer!

How Does the CSI: NY Virtual Experience Work?

This is a 3-D environment where you solve crimes, play games and meet other CSI: NY fans. It's completely free!

To get started, click the "Join Now" button at the top of this page, and follow the simple registration process. You'll choose an avatar to represent you in Second Life, fill in some basic information, and then download the OnRez Viewer for Second Life, hosted by The Electric Sheep Company.

When you log in, you'll arrive in a custom orientation area that teaches you everything you need to know about life in Virtual CSI: NY. There will be official greeters and plenty of other CSI: NY fans to help you get started. Come on in!
