Following Pancho's mandate to take a vacation, Alex goes on a blowout gambling trip in the Caribbean with Ramon and his crew. As he contemplates why he feels more natural affinity with these Cuban gangsters than with his upstanding adopted family, Alex soon gets a shock of cold water in his face when he comes upon these men brutally beating a man and showing their criminal nature. In Alex's absence, Frank recruits Henry to get involved in the company, and together they present Pancho with a comprehensive strategy to move them into beer. Although impressed with Frank's ability to interest Henry in the business, Pancho isn't too excited about the prospect of Duque beer. One son wants to make ethanol; now these two want to make beer. Doesn't anyone want to make rum? Meanwhile, Jamie and Rebecca have their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties, though neither is really excited at the prospect. At the end of the night, Rebecca sleeps with her ex-boyfriend. While Alex is away, Isabel has a work session at Hudson Brandt's loft that becomes an impromptu dinner, providing a welcome respite.
