Eager to get Senator Finch's backing for his ethanol plan, Alex meets with her and discovers that she's attractive and rather flirtatious. Angered because Alex replaced their drivers with Ramon's crew, the Israeli mob hijacks three Duque Rum trucks and executes the drivers. The newspapers have a field day with this sensational story linking Duque Rum with organized crime, and when Pancho learns of all the trouble Alex has caused since taking over as CEO, he forces Alex to take some time off. Unaware of Ellis' duplicity, Frank is thrilled to have Alex out of the way and settles in to take control of the company in his brother's absence. Henry finally gets to Terry, but she turns the tables on him by shrugging him off after a one-night stand. Isabel's philanthropic inclinations find her involved in a benefit for Miami artists and working with sexy artist Hudson Brandt, whom she finds intriguing.
