After Henry is severely beaten by his Israeli drug lord investors, Alex takes matters into his own hands and enlists Cuban gangsters to help get Henry out of trouble. The Cubans "persuade" Henry's investors to release him from the deal, but now Alex has put himself into deep debt with the Cuban gang leader. Meanwhile, Pancho and Frank set out to hire a new master blender for their rum after Pancho makes it clear he wants to replace himself before it's too late. At the International Rum Awards, Pancho finds a brilliant master blender, a young Australian woman named Terry Greenway, and does his best to persuade her to be his successor. Meanwhile, when the pressures of planning a large Cuban wedding start weighing on Rebecca, she and Jamie secretly elope. The combined stresses of Alex's secrecy, helping to plan the wedding, and not getting adequate sleep ultimately lead Isabel to have a sudden and tragic miscarriage.
