In an initiative to mechanize their harvests and further the ethanol plan, Alex goes head-to-head with Pancho, and later Isabel, in the family's first major split since Alex was named CEO. Later, Pancho reveals he has cancer, further heightening emotions. Also, Quinones' mangled body surfaces in the Everglades and forces Alex's longtime police friend, Vince Grasso, to further investigate Alex's possible involvement. And, Henry pays a Hollywood "it girl" to hangout at his club. While her celebrity status is good publicity, her wild lifestyle soon becomes a bad influence on Katie.
